We help clients refine their energy management strategy to mitigate the impact of foreign competitors with labour cost advantages. We have deep technical expertise in the processes that apply to the sector, from multi-compressor ammonia refrigeration systems, high pressure steam boilers and multi-unit compressed air systems through to industry-specific technologies such as dairy evaporators and dryers, conches, liquid filling lines, retorts, stills, distillation columns and fermenters.
- Mondelez International, Inc: We have been working with Mondelez International including in its various incarnations as Cadbury and Kraft Foods since 2007. Since then, we have conducted multiple detailed energy studies at three large confectionery plants, conducted several feasibility studies relating to energy efficiency projects and provided advisory services to enable the development of greenhouse emissions disclosure reporting systems and progress reports for other government-mandated programs.
- Murray Goulburn Co-operative Company: Our close relationship with Murray Goulburn over several years has led to the joint development of the "Energy Blitz", an intensive site-based activity that aims to improve site energy efficiency via close interaction with site personnel. Implementation of this process has resulted in the identification and implementation of projects that continue to save the company hundreds of thousands of dollars every year. Examples of projects identified include operational changes to reduce the use of electric resistance air-heaters, install boiler economisers, reset electricity retailer demand charges and modify operation of refrigeration plant.
Our clients include companies in the following industry sub-sectors:
- Dairy processing
